Dr. Young holds a DPhil from Oxford University, and a Masters in Social Work from Florida State University with focus on counseling and psychotherapy. Her research is based on religious and spiritual movements and their relation to psychology.  Dr. Young lectured for ten years at University of Florida.  She has had a private practice since 2014.

 

Dr. Young at present works online.  She offers fifty minute sessions on Zoom, Facebook, FaceTime, WhatsAp and Skype.  Fees vary according to a client’s health insurance and there is a sliding scale.  HIP and Futurecare do not cover these services.

 

Dr. Young works with individuals in Bermuda and internationally.
